Improve Access to Care: A Process of Identifying “Areas of Needs Improvements”

Sunday, June 12, 2022

2:30pm - 3:30pm ET

According to a 2016 Institute of Medicine (IOM) report, medical error was the third leading cause of death in United States healthcare systems. Effective staff education and communication of patient care needs across healthcare disciplines are critical to ensure patient safety and quality of care to improve operational efficiencies in healthcare systems.

We are happy to share what we did to improve patient access while improving efficiency and quality of care in the CT Scan, X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Bone Density, and Interventional Radiology departments.
