Charlotte Godwin Scholarship
The Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nursing (ARIN) Charlotte Godwin Scholarship was established to help with ARIN members attending the annual Spring Educational Meeting. The recipient will receive a complimentary registration for the annual meeting; in addition, to the complimentary registration the recipient receives a cash scholarship of $200 to defray the expenses for the conference. This year’s winner is Kimberly DeBore, BSN, RN.
Dorothy Budnek Memorial Scholarship
The Association for Radiologic and Imaging Nursing (ARIN) Dorothy Budnek Memorial Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to ARIN members who have returned to school to advance their nursing education. The recipient will receive a scholarship in the amount of $600.00. Individuals who have been members of ARIN for at least three years are eligible to apply for the scholarship. This year’s recipient is Andra Carley, RN, BScN, CRN
The Linda Strangio Editor’s Award
The Linda Strangio Editor’s Award was inaugurated in 2002 by the ARIN Board of Directors in recognition of the contributions and service to the organization from member and early editor Linda Strangio. The award recognizes the Journal of Radiology Nursing article of the year. This year’s winner is Floreen Knight, BSN, RN, CPN, Kathleen Stiffler, CPNP, CPON, Colleen Nixon, MSN, RN, CPHON, and Debra Lajoie, PhD, MSN, RN for the article Intra-Arterial Chemotherapy for Retinablastoma: A Collaborative Effort which appeared in the March 2018 Journal of Radiology Nursing, 37, 9-14.
