3rd Annual International Nurses Day at The United Nations on Friday May 10, 2019, sponsored by Nurses with Global Impact. International Nurses Day is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of nursing’s founder, Florence Nightingale. Twenty-one nurses from around the world were honored for their compassion, dedication and passion for their work.
The New England Chapter hosted our 2019 Spring Education Conference at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell Massachusetts on May 4th. The conference was well attended by nurses from Massachusetts, New Hampshire Connecticut and New York State. The keynote speaker, Cece Lynch, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE and Chief Nursing Executive at Lowell General spoke about “Nursing Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Nursing Retention”.
The Northwest Chapter of ARIN sponsored the 2-day Imaging Review Course on November 3-4, 2018. Thirty-five nurses gathered at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA for the offering taught by Lauren Miller, BSN, MSN, Master Faculty.
This years’ Ohio Radiological Nurses Association Spring Event on April 6th marked the 30th year of the chapter. Held at the University Hospitals of Cleveland Rainbow Amphitheater; it was an educationally rich day, attended by physicians, nurses and technologists from across northeast Ohio.
We invite both Nurses and Technologists to submit an abstract for the 2019 Fall Symposium in Columbus, OH. On September 26-29, 2019.
After a six-year hiatus, the ARIN Board has chosen to bring back the Fall Symposium. Much discussion and research were done before choosing Columbus, Ohio as the host city for this event
