The Radiologic Nurses Certification Board (RNCB) is pleased to announce that starting in 2020 the Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) examination can be scheduled in four different months instead of just two months out of the year. The CRN examination will be offered in the months of January, April, July and October. Applications will be due on the 1st of the month preceding the testing month or the 15th of the preceding month with a late fee.
The CRN credentials are trademarked and can be placed after your name once you have passed the exam. The CRN exam is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC), the same accreditation board that accredits the ANCC nursing certification exams. The Radiologic Nursing Certification Board (RNCB) is a non-profit organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors that oversees the Certified Radiology Nursing (CRN) exam.
